The side effects of fertility treatment and medications can be both physical and mental. It can be helpful to track how you are feeling during treatment to correlate which medication is causing what, how you can expect to feel in future cycles, and what to talk with your care team about to determine if what you're experiencing is normal.

What We Heard From our Community

Many of you reached out and asked us to add the symptom tracking feature so you can log how you feel alongside your medications and appointments to help you keep track of everything in one place.

What is Symptom Logging?

Symptom logging is simply the act of tracking how you are feeling throughout treatment. The Berry app provides a list of common symptoms and gives you the ability to add your own. Some people like to log their symptoms daily, while others only log when they are feeling something new, different, or worse. Adding your symptoms right when you are experiencing them can help you make connections to what makes them better or worse. It also gives you the ability to be more in tune with what's going on in your body and have informed conversations with your doctor.

How It Works

To log your symptoms:

  1. Click the + in the bottom right corner

  2. Select “Symptom Log”

  3. Enter the date and time of when the symptoms occurred

  4. Select from the list of symptoms or press the + icon to type in your own

  5. You can remove symptoms from the displayed list by clicking the pencil icon and selecting the trash bin next to the symptoms you’d like to remove

  6. Lastly, hit “Save” to save your symptom log

Logging your symptoms is a great way to check in with your body and to keep track of how you are feeling both mentally and physically while going through treatment. Knowing these symptoms can help you have better conversations with your care team.
